2008 Growing up in Morecambe

This was a six-month family learning project. Parents and Carers were engaged with their children in lantern and boat making workshops culminating in a procession along the promenade to launch the boat. Documentaries describing the procession and the processes of making the lanterns and the boat were made. Professional development days were also run as follow up, where it was possible to discuss edited film such as with mixed groups of practitioners.
